We are here to help people understand the very principles that were put in place by the creator. There are principles or natural laws that govern everything that are also called natural laws.

We are a church and a North Carolina unincorporated association dedicated to educating people on the true nature of our governmental system, rooted in agency and contracts—principles as ancient as the biblical covenants (e.g., Genesis 9:13). Operating under the Holy Bible and the laws North Carolina, we offer merchandise, services, and memberships via basilikosnomos.institute to foster integrity, good faith, and mutual commitment in all agreements.

We are an independent sovereign body granted affiliate status by Universal Ministries, re-affirmed annually on October 1st. This partnership aligns us with their Statement of Fundamental Doctrines and Code of Ethics, allowing participation in their programs while maintaining our own mission focus.

The church is committed to protecting donor privacy, ensuring individual information isn’t disclosed without consent, except as required by law, such as during IRS audits, as implied in Brotherhood Mutual: Finance and Tax. Aggregate data may be used for reporting, but personal details remain confidential, aligning with the church’s emphasis on integrity, as seen in the “Congregational Affiliation” document, which stresses adherence to a Code of Ethics.

Our goal is to reveal how systems of government and law truly function—not just how they’re perceived—drawing parallels between modern contracts and scriptural covenants. We believe both the U.S. Constitution (e.g., Article 1, Section 10) and the Bible (e.g., Matthew 5:37) call for clear, honest commitments, encouraging people to study these foundational texts with diligence.

No! Nothing on this website is to be considered as legal advice or considered the practice of law.

Writing articles on a website that provide general information about the law, legal subjects, cases, or statutes does not constitute the practice of law, provided that the articles do not offer specific legal advice or apply legal principles to specific facts.
In ” In re: Peterson,” the court found that providing informational articles and videos discussing various bankruptcy-related topics does not constitute the practice of law. The court emphasized that these articles contained general information easily obtainable by a layperson and did not provide specific legal advice or apply legal principles to specific facts (In re: Peterson, Not Reported in B.R. Rptr. (2022)).
According to North Carolina General Statutes Annotated § 84-2.1, the practice of law includes performing any legal service for another person, such as preparing legal documents or giving legal advice. However, it does not encompass the drafting or writing of memoranda of understanding or other mediation summaries by mediators, or the selection or completion of preprinted forms by real estate brokers or website providers, provided they do not prepare legal documents for third parties (N.C.G.S.A. § 84-2.1).
In “ Capital Associated Industries, Incorporated v. Stein,” the court noted that North Carolina’s unauthorized practice of law statutes focus on who may conduct themselves as a lawyer, rather than the communicative aspects of practicing law. This implies that general commentary or critique on legal issues, such as writing a law review article or operating a website devoted to legal commentary, does not constitute the practice of law (360 Virtual Drone Services LLC v. Ritter, 102 F.4th 263 (2024)).
In ” Polaski v. Lee,” the court clarified that generalized legal statements and opinions not tailored to any specific or particular situation do not constitute the unauthorized practice of law. This supports the notion that providing general legal information on a website is permissible (Polaski v. Lee, — F.Supp.3d —- (2024)).
Therefore, writing articles that provide general legal information, without offering specific legal advice or applying legal principles to specific facts, is not considered practicing law on a website.
