TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By enrolling in the class hosted by BASILIKOS NOMOS INSTITUTE, in partnership with STRATFORD FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS, INC., you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are legally binding upon registration.

1. No-Show and Attendance Policy

All participants are required to attend the class at the scheduled time, without exception. No excuses will be accepted for failing to attend. Participants who do not attend (i.e., a “no-show”) will forfeit the class fee and their spot in the class. No refunds will be issued. Any participant who misses the class will be required to pay the full registration fee again to enroll in the next available session.

2. Registration and Late Registration Fees

Standard registration must be completed by the final registration deadline as specified on the registration page. Late registration is available for an additional fee of $100, within 24 hours after the final registration deadline. Late registrants are subject to all other terms and conditions of this Agreement.

3. Refund Policy

The no-refund policy is strict but allows for limited exceptions in the case of medical, legal, or personal emergencies. Participants may request a refund within 48 hours of registering, provided they submit valid documentation of the emergency. Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and Stratford Financial Solutions, Inc. will make the final decision at its sole discretion. Participants must provide sufficient evidence (e.g., medical certificate, legal notice) for consideration.

4. Chargeback Policy

Any false or unauthorized chargeback initiated by a participant will be considered a breach of this Agreement. In such cases, the participant agrees to pay liquidated damages equal to the lesser of $10,000 or three times the amount of the chargeback. This amount is intended to cover administrative, legal, and financial costs incurred due to the chargeback. Stratford Financial Solutions, Inc. will provide an itemized breakdown of the costs incurred upon request. Participants will also be barred from future services.

5. Class Format and Testing

The class will not be recorded, and participants will not have access to class materials after the session. This class will be only available through the website. And will be available for those that can not attend the live. It will only be available during the scheduled class time period/semester. Participants are required to take notes during the session. An open-book or notes multiple-choice test will be administered at the end of the class. Participants must pass the test to qualify for any concessions offered.

6. Conduct and Participation

Participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally during the class. Disruptive behavior or violations of the class rules will result in immediate removal without a refund. Participants must adhere to the instructions provided by the class instructor or facilitator.

7. Intellectual Property

All class materials, content, and related resources are the intellectual property of Stratford Financial Solutions, Inc. Unauthorized use, copying, or distribution of any materials provided during the class will result in legal action. Participants may not share, reproduce, or distribute materials without prior written consent. This obligation continues after the class ends and remains in effect indefinitely.

8. Data Privacy

Stratford Financial Solutions, Inc. and/or Basilikos Nomos Institute are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal data collected during registration or the class will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws. No personal data will be sold or shared with third parties under any circumstances.

9. Limitation of Liability

Stratford Financial Solutions, Inc. and/or Basilikos Nomos Institute shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the class. The liability of Stratford Financial Solutions, Inc. and/or Basilikos Nomos Institute for any claim arising out of this Agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid for class registration.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemics, or government orders. In such cases, the affected party must notify the other in writing within 10 business days. Performance obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event. If the delay continues for more than 60 days, either party may terminate this Agreement without penalty.

11. Amendments

Stratford Financial Solutions, Inc. and/or Basilikos Nomos Institute reserves the right to amend or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Participants are encouraged to review the terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.

Code of Conduct for Participants

As a participant in the class hosted by Stratford Financial Solutions, Inc. and Basilikos Nomos Institute, you are expected to adhere to the following Code of Conduct to ensure a productive, respectful, and professional learning environment.

1. Respect for Others: All students are expected to treat fellow participants, the instructor, and any support staff with respect and courtesy. Discriminatory, harassing, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
2. Participation and Engagement: Active participation is encouraged. Students should feel free to ask questions and engage with the instructor and material during the class. However, interruptions and off-topic discussions should be avoided.
3. Punctuality: Students are required to be present and ready to begin class on time. Arriving late or leaving early disrupts the class and is discouraged.
4. Preparedness: Students are expected to be prepared for the class by reviewing any pre-class materials and having all necessary tools (such as notebooks for note-taking) ready for use.
5. No Disruption: Disruptive behavior, such as using electronic devices for non-class-related purposes, talking out of turn, or interrupting the instructor or other students, will result in immediate removal from the class without a refund.
6. Academic Integrity: Students are expected to complete all tests and assignments honestly. Cheating, plagiarism, or any other form of academic dishonesty is strictly prohibited.
7. Confidentiality: Any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the class must remain confidential. Students are prohibited from sharing, copying, or distributing class materials without prior written permission from Stratford Financial Solutions, Inc. This obligation continues after the class ends.
8. Consequences for Violations: Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in immediate removal from the class without a refund, and in severe cases, a permanent ban from future classes and services.
